He did a great job but the plaster doesn't want to stick in the kitchen area above the island. The area above the sink was first so he scraped it back and added Kilz primer. It seemed to work until he had a fellow in to spray paint. This paint is apparently really thick and so goes on in one coat. By last night it was falling off in chunks over the kitchen island (not primed). The room has been really humid and very warm through the whole process due to large windows and wet plaster. Any ideas to fix the problem so that it immediately sticks and so that we don't have chunks falling throughout the area over the next ten years? Our guy is at a loss. <br />Nicky in Calgaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08278658076241748897noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4189862499700338748.post-54303880637194947822007-07-22T07:25:00.000-04:002007-07-22T07:25:00.000-04:00PPS Johnny says if it STILL won't stick then the w...PPS Johnny says if it STILL won't stick then the walls are probably greasy -- or sometimes a build-up of nicotine has the same effect -- in which case you want to wash with DirtEx (I just looked it up and discovered that it comes in a spray, but I've never known Johnny to use anything but the powder, and you can trust that if that's what he uses then there's a good reason).EGEhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00413356156587831974noreply@blogger.com
