If there’re going to be sharp -- as in cut-the-pad-of-your-thumb-open-so-swiftly-you-can’t-even-feel-it-and-it-takes-a-minute-for-the-blood-to-come-down sharp -- edges on pieces of a gas grill you have to put together yourself, don’t you think the least they could do would be to NOT wrap them in bubble wrap? Some of us, when we see bubble wrap, simply can’t resist.
Ow. Here comes the pain, now. Shoot. I probably should’ve washed it before I put the band-aid on.
Ow! It really hurts!

Neosporin with pain relief helps dramatically, so says the woman whose right pointer finger got three huge splinters and one deep gash the other day.
Beer helps. Drink at least two.
I've done the beer thing already. All right, I'll go do the actual soap and water thing...
