Are You Kidding Me?

This box...

...is in my yard.

(We'll talk later about the condition of my yard. Right now, I'm the outraged one, okay?)

I noticed it when I first got out of bed this morning (i.e., twenty minutes ago) -- except that, when I first got out of bed this morning, it was in the road.

Which means somebody walked by at 7:30 on a Saturday morning, picked it up out of the road, and threw it in my yard!

And before you ask: no. There is no way it blew in. Don't you see that gorgeous chain-link fence there? There really isn't even any way someone could assume it blew out of this yard in the first place. Don't you see that stunning chain link fence?

People suck. Townville sucks. I hate boxes.

Grr.

Home Depot called. Our new cabinets are in. We're going to pick them up in about an hour. I'll show more kitchen pictures and bring you up to speed for good this afternoon.

In the meantime, I think I'll throw the empty boxes in the road.

[Update: I can't get Johnny to wake up. He's got a cold, and he won't get out of bed. So it's coming on 9:30 and, needless to say, we have not made it to Home Depot yet.

Maybe I'll throw Johnny in the road!]

Actually I sort of do live on the water -- it's just down the street a ways -- but that in the picture is the road.

We are on a major street and I am constantly picking up empty drink containers in our yard. They had to throw it out the car window and couldn't wait and dispose of it at home?

BTW, people do suck but thier entertainment value makes them worth keeping around.

I love that comment,"People suck, but their entertainment value makes them worth keeping around."

We live on a busy street and all sorts of stuff end up in our yard. I think folks aim at our mailbox with their cigerette butts...however, since our yard is a dump right now, I guess they thought they're contributing to the cause...

I live down a street near a large mall. We get all kinds of trash *if* the wind blows just right and I find myself often picking up refuse. However, the neighborhood I used to live in, not very near stores/malls always produced skads of garbage. It was unbelievable and perplexing. I always figured there was some strange curse of physics working against us and delivering enough garbage daily that it required I put a permanent garbage can outside of my garage (no lie). I am thrilled I no longer live there.

The idea that anyone would pick up a big piece of trash and put it in your yard is downright mean.

Ugh, we too get all kinds of garbage in our yard. I'm always wondering if it blew into it, or was put there by people. And our yard looks nice, and is obviously cared for, so it always really makes me mad.

I would be ticked off too, especially since you actually have a fence there!
