Recipe For Dinner

Roofing hammer (cleaned up really good, I swear):

Plus old countertop that will be ripped out within the week (I swear):

Equals really good smashing-tools for these:

Crab claws. Delivered gratis by John B., courtesy of another boat-owning carpenter, who hauled them in this morning.

God but I love living by the ocean and being rich in blue-collar friends!

Is it wrong that I'm sexually excited by that much crab?

Hey man, so long as they don't make you itch in places you don't want to itch, crabs ARE exciting!

Also, the woman from the Reclaimed Home blog (link over at my place...) is looking for cabinets similar to the ones you're ripping out. Might be able to strike a deal to sell them to her.

I just sent her an email -- thanks for the tip!

So, what happened to the rest of the crabs?

What do you mean, the REST of them?

No, seriously, we made crab cakes the next night. Took me two hours to smash all those g-d things!
